Pool Cleaners are made up into two groups Suction Cleaners and Robotic Pool Cleaners.
We will start with Suction Cleaners which are made up also into two groups the Rubber Flapper Cleaners and the Mechanical Cleaners. We will then finish with Robotic Pool Cleaners.
Rubber Flapper Cleaners
G2, T3 & T5
The rubber flapper cleaners make a vibrating pulsing sound as they move through the water while the pool system is on. As it sucks up sand, leaf matter and other debri. These cleaners do require the skimmer basket to be emptied on a weekly basis. As they are attached with a pipe through the skimmer box. These are entry level cleaners.
Mechanical Cleaners
MX6 and MX8
These Mechanical Cleaners operate quietly while the pool system is on. These cleaners do require the skimmer basket to be emptied on a weekly basis. As they also suck up sand, leaf matter and other debri. As they are also attached with a pipe through the skimmer box. These are medium range pool cleaners.
Robotic Cleaners
TX30 and VX42
The Robotic Pool Cleaners operate at a slower quieter pace as they move through the water thoroughly compared to suction cleaners. These Robotic Cleaners run off a cable and are powered by 12volts. With a robotic cleaner you can run it independently of the pool being on or off. They also require the bag or basket to be emptied from inside the Robot where all the sand and leaves are deposited. You must however remember to switch the Robot on or else it won’t come on, these are in the Higher range of pool cleaners.
