Types of Pool Vacuums

There are two main types of pool cleaners on the market today – suction cleaners and robotic cleaners.

Suction cleaners attach to your skimmer box and rely on the power of your pump to randomly move around the bottom and sides of your pool. The debris goes to your skimmer box and then through your pump to the filter.

Robot pool cleaners are essentially an automatic pool vacuum which use advanced technology to clean the sides, steps, and bottom of your pool. They operate independently of the pool’s filtration system.
